Emily Skye is a "fitness guru" who has made a name for herself across various social media platforms and even launched "Emily Skye Fit", a fitness program where her followers can access recipes, workouts, and motivation all online.
When Skye became pregnant, she stated that she was committed to continuing her workouts throughout the entire pregnancy. However, now that she is eight months into the pregnancy, she has shared with her followers that she will not be able to continue to work out due to back pain.
She explains, "I made the choice to listen to my body and stop. It's only short term inactivity and there's always time to get my fitness back later. I really admire other pregnant ladies who exercise throughout their pregnancy. But for me it just hasn't been possible and it doesn't worry me at all!"
Her devoted fans are glad to hear that she is taking care of herself, and trust that she will bounce back with ease after the baby is born.
Emily's experience has shown that it is important to set goals you are passionate about during fitness regimens, but not to be too upset if they do not prove to come through as desired. The only thing to do is to make a plan on how to move forward, and not dwell in what hasn't worked out.
Of course, Emily has a lot to be proud of right now. She explains, "nothing can take away the happiness I have right now. I'm healthy and so is my baby girls and that's all that matters."
